By now, many of us have heard of the recent serious incident involving our friend, Fr. Paul A Raaz. Wednesday night he had a quiet night. Surgery is scheduled for 12:30 pm Thursday afternoon to repair broken shoulder bones. He remains sedated to help manage pain. He is responsive. He opened his eyes long enough to nod in recognition of a long time friend yesterday.
The hospital respectfully asks that we not call them to get updates on our friend. They have been overwhelmed with the volume, but really cannot release information. We will continue to post updates here as they are made available to us.
